2010 U.S. Amateur Public Links Championship

Bryan Park Golf Club - Greensboro, NC

Bryan Park Golf & Conference Center, in Greensboro, N.C., has been selected by the United States Golf Association as the site of the 2010 U.S. Amateur Public Links Championship. The dates of the championship are July 12-17.

The Champions Course at Bryan Park was designed by Rees Jones and opened in 1990. The course features 97 sand bunkers, numerous grass bunkers and hollows with seven holes bordering Lake Townsend. The course is hosting its first USGA championship.

The course was named after Joseph and Kathleen Bryan in recognition of their contributions to the City of Greensboro. The Joseph M. Bryan Foundation and the City of Greensboro support Bryan Park, which consists of 1,550 acres and includes two championship golf courses, a conference center, soccer fields, walking trails and a marina.

"Showcasing Bryan Park through the Amateur Public Links is a wonderful opportunity for our facility and community," said David Taylor, president of Pinnacle Golf Properties and Bryan Park Management Group, which operates the facility. "The event allows Bryan Park to shine in a national spotlight and be recognized as a true test for these great amateur golfers. We are grateful to the USGA for our selection."
